Kenapa Saya Minat Arsenal FC?

Hari ini, saya akan menerangkan kepada pembaca mengapa saya meminati Arsenal FC. Saya telah menyokong pasukan ini sejak tahun 1995, semasa Dennis Bergkamp mula-mula menyertai pasukan ini. Dennis Bergkamp sentiasa menjadi pemain yang paling saya minati, sejak dari dulu lagi.

Semasa tahun 90an, pertahanan Arsenal merupakan yang terbaik di liga Inggeris, dengan pemain seperti David Seaman, Tony Adams, Martin Keown, Steve Bould, Lee Dixon dan Nigel Winterburn. Masih teringat juga ramai orang menyatakan Arsenal pada masa itu amat membosankan kerana terlalu banyak bertahan, terutama sekali selepas bolos, mereka akan berlegar-legar di kawasan sendiri sahaja untuk mengelak dari ditembusi pihak lawan.

Selepas kedatangan Arsene Wenger, corak permainan pertahanan menjadi seimbang dengan kemasukan pemain seperti Marc Overmars, Nicolas Anelka, Patrick Vieira, Emmanuel Petit, Luis Boa Morte dan ramai lagi. Terdapat pemain muda seperti Thierry Henry, Robin Van Persie, Theo Walcott, dan ramai lagi prospek yang berjaya dilatih dengan jayanya di bawah panji-panji Arsenal (Chewaahh..!)

Pemain-pemain Arsenal terdiri dari berbilang warganegara. Itu yang kita katakan globalisasi, dengan bilangan pemain dari seluruh pelusuk dunia berada di Arsenal, seperti Perancis, Jerman, Belanda, Sepanyol, dan negara Asia seperti Jepun dan Korea. Namun, beberapa pemain dari England sendiri juga berada di skuad Arsenal seperti Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and Kieran Gibbs.

Arsenal juga mempamerkan permainan dengan hantaran kemas, dan corak serangan yang menarik, seperti Barcelona dan Real Madrid (Cuma kurang mempunyai pemain ternama saja..), dengan kehadiran nama-nama pemain berbakat seperti Bergkamp, Henry, Pires, Fabregas, Arshavin, Gervinho, dan pemain yang memiliki kepantasan seperti Walcott, Miyaichi, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gibbs, dan Koscielny.

Walaupun ramai yang mengejek saya kerana menyokong pasukan Arsenal, terutama sekali dibenam 8-2 oleh Manchester United (Ingatkah anda bahawa Manchester United juga tewas 6-1 kepada Manchester City?), saya tetap setia kepada Arsenal!

Dulu Lain, Sekarang Lain

Banyak benda dah berubah. Dulu suka tengok anime, sekarang dah suka tengok TV series, especially White Collar, NCIS, CSI, Pretender, etc. Nak improve intelligence kononnya. Hehe. Banyak membantu sebenarnya.

Dulu tengok bola ja, tapi sekarang dah manage team bola company. Susah juga. Macam-macam karenah pemain ni. Dalam game Football Manager, senang ja suruh orang ikut taktik yang kita rancang.

Brooke Dockyard FC.. Kalau handal, carilah saya..

Semenjak kerja menguruskan manusia ni (Dalam kata lain, Human Resource Management), susah juga sebab biasa la, orang yang involve dalam kerja-kerja pembinaan ni ada gangster sikit. Dulu masa kat kolej, boleh la bawa kepala sendiri nak buat hal. Bila difikirkan, tak baik gaduh-gaduh. Buat sakit badan ja. Tapi kepala pun sakit kalau masalah tak habis-habis di tempat kerja. Namun, ditempuhi dengan tabah! (Ramai yang rasa gangster, tapi takpa. Malas dah nak tunjuk gangster..)

Dulu drive jip, sekarang dah ada Gen-2. Tapi pun dah banyak kali repair, kena repair besar-besaran dengan spray baru kereta tu, and rim kena pakai 17 woo! Baru stylish. Enjin nak masuk enjin Lambo, baru steady.. Hahaha..

Dulu seorang, sekarang dah berdua. Sang cinta, Nur Salfiah, si buah hati, permata jiwa (Indah.. Indah..!).

Dulu Nokia, sekarang Blackberry. Mana taknya, kena reply banyak e-mails dari possible service providers (especially dalam bidang latihan..). Nak update Facebook dan Twitter juga sambil baca berita terkini. Hebat hidup dalam zaman ni. Semua di hujung jari.

Dulu tak makan sayur, sekarang dah pandai la sikit-sikit. Itu pun sayur-sayuran yang selalu diletak dalam Western food. Tomyam pun dah tau nak makan dah. Sedap tomyam rupanya, especially time Steamboat. (Ahhh! Steamboat my favourite!!)

Makanan and Health?

Burgers, hotdogs, nuggets, tea, coffee, etc are some of unhealthy foods banned dari dijual di kantin-kantin sekolah starting next month. No more instant noodle, chocolate, sweets, ice-creams, preserved food!

Over the last 50 years, hubungan between diet and heart disease adalah dalam pemerhatian rapi dan dah didocumended by thousands of scientific studies. Realitinya, heart disease is the leading cause of death in the modern world,which are created by diet kita and terlalu sukar untuk kita menidakkannya. Banyak lagi penyakit yang kita dapat trace back to an unhealthful diet

I think government's effort untuk menangani masalah obesity and diabetis which is seriously increasing in Malaysia. I am the most obvious example of this problem (Mengaku awal!). How I wish I can eat vegetable sebab my taste bud memang dah out! Tak dapat terima vegetable lagi!

Now I hate to see people can play sports, jogging, go to the gym, etc. I am planning to start my workout again! Nak jadi sihat and cergas!

I have been wanting this Galaxy Tab since it first announced by the end of last year. Nak teramat sangat! Tapi tergoda dengan iPhone. So, testing beli iPhone version first tu dulu. Tapi tak syok la pulak. So, sold the iPhone and got myself a SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB!

At first, awkward la sebab besar gila jugak Galaxy Tab, but I know, it will become a useful gadget, suits my entertainment and internet need. Besides, a lot of applications are available online. At first I wanted to buy a Blackberry or HTC, but temptation tu! Kalah dengan temptation! Haha!

So happy with it. Now, I just need a bluetooth headset. What brand is the best? Jabra i supposed? or i-Tech?

Football Weekend

Hari ini hari Ahad.. Sunday Football for people in Kuching.. Liga Kuching! Tapi sebelum itu, tahniah to Manchester City, that beat Manchester United in FA Cup last night. Yaya Toure is simple awesome.

Liga Kuching, Brooke Dockyard vs SEG FC (If I'm not mistaken the team name), ended with kekalahan to our beloved team. Kena kad merah pulak tu, padahal tak sepatutnya bagi kad merah. That's the turning point! Tewas 2-1 memang tak puas hati. But, the goalkeeper, Kamal Ariffin could be the Man of the Match sebab focus all the time, banyak buat saves pula!

The Captain, Safri played with all his heart and soul, but things aren't go our way this time, especially the referee gave a lot bad judgments, sampai penyokong Brooke jadi orang gila sebab tak puas hati!

One more match, and insyaAllah, we can do it well Guys!

Now Arsenal is facing Liverpool, both are my favourite teams! Hehe. All the best to both teams!

Love itu Cinta

Cinta tak boleh dipaksa, but we can nurture love. It happens to me, because me and my girl bukan berjumpa secara conventional. Bukan secara face-to-face. Thanks to the internet, and dengan Qada' dan Qadar-Nya, kami ditemukan. The first time we met, it was funny. My girl kena 'salah urat' on the neck and she can't talk much sebab menahan kesakitan. I just couldn't forget that day.

And now, kami berdua sudah bertunang. We first declared our love on 18 April 2006 (5 years of love this Monday), and bertunang on 26 September 2010. Probably getting married next year, insyaAllah.

Brotherhood

Selepas menonton the film Bonded by Blood, there are a lot of things I belajar about brotherhood. And I'm lucky, my best friends never turn their back on me. Semuanya setia belaka. Harap tak jadi one of the character yang gave information to the police that lead to the arrest of the other two friends.

And we have faced many ups and downs together for many years, and kita masih best friends until now. Probably, there are things that we should keep as secret, I rasa? Hehe.

Good-looking? Well, probably someone who is pleasant to look at?

Cute? Mostly adorable?

Well? What category should I put myself in? Hmm.. Not sure..

Because ramai pula yang kata, handsome men make bad husband.. Haha..

Then, Good-looking lead to metro-ish, then homo-ish? Haha..

Cute? I'm not that young, Man! I bukan remaja lagi la..

And, do men need to be handsome and good looking to attract women?

Nak tahu my answer? No, you do not need to be a handsome good looking to attract beautiful girls. However, if you tahu how to groom yourself untuk jadi more attractive, then you will certainly have advantages over guys yang less well-groomed.

Artificial Intelligence in Football

What do we all know about artificial intelligence? Have you ever watched movies like A.I., I,Robot, Eagle Eye, and many other movies with the same theme? Or real life robot such as ASIMO, TOPIO, etc.? How about the computer Deep Blue that defeated world chess champion Gary Kasparov in a chess match? We would be amazed on technology influenced our life, including decision-making process, risk analysis, etc.?

As the World Cup reaching the end, we have pointed out there are a lot of ‘intelligence problems’ caused by the referee in making decision in a match. The most obvious wrong decision made by the referee was during the England-Germany match where the ball was clearly crossed the goal line, but Frank Lampard’s goal was disallowed? In the mind of the fans right now would be questioning, why did the most played game in the world, broadcasted through high definition display, but did not implement the usage of latest technology?

We all saw that the referees have a device at their ears, to communicate? That’s a good start for technological advancement in football. What about other solutions to promote fair play and minimize referee mistakes? I guess goal-line technology should be introduced, same goes to video reference. Let we compare rugby and football. Same principles, but rugby used video reference to help a referee make a decision. However, the referee would have the final decision. The recent decision by FIFA to ban big screen replays inside the stadiums sounds too much.

Since football can be considered as one of the most expensive sports in the world, what if we implement Artificial intelligence in it? Motion cameras around the field, the field surface will be equipped with sensors to analyze player’s motion, including existing analysis such as distance covered, passes completed, and other analysis that related to the game.

What if we include sensors on the player that would analyze their fatigue condition, muscle activities, just in order to monitor their health during the game? This will be useful to avoid career-ending injuries. I’m not saying that injuries will not happen, but at least we can get prepared for it.

Maybe this artificial intelligence will make football less attractive, as most players claim. But why promote Fair Play anyway? Using the technologies will definitely improve Fair Play and gives everyone a satisfactory decisions.

PERSONAL LOAN FOR GOVERNMENT STATUTORY BODY?

The reason I put the title in capital letters is because I am getting sick of the financial system in Malaysia.

In their brochures, they stated that any government servants, government-linked company and government statutory bodies can apply for loan, but when I stated my workplace name, the BANKS and the KOPERASIs said they can't give us any loan. When I asked what's the reason, they said it is the higher authority's decision. SCREW THAT!

Therefore, any agents from BANKS or KOPERASIs that came across this page, please comment on this. I will explain to you why we deserve to apply for loan. Anyway, our company has been given permission by ANGKASA to make deductions from our salary. What are your reasons now?

Hard to Get A Car Loan Nowadays

Today, me and my girlfriend faced a really ugly fucking truth. Let me put the statement that the bank officer told us.

"Your part of the loan has been approved, but you need a guarantor because the one you nominated has a lot of commitments."

What the hell is that supposed to mean? If the loan was approved, what is it for do we need a guarantor? They even can't get their facts right. The bank said, graduates that have a diploma can loan a car without a guarantor, but now it's a totally different story.

My girl just started working, for about 3 months. In her offer letter, it was stated that after probation, she will be given an executive position in the company, and to add a fact up, the company is a government-linked company (GLC). Therefore, she is confirmed to work there for a long time.

Ok, let setup a situational question that might the bank officer ask.

"What if she will not be offered the job there due to lack of performance?"
Answer: In every organization, people that doesn't perform will be warned, at least 3 times before they got fired. This including the government sector! Even a high-ranking officer can get fired if they don't perform well in their work.

"The salary is barely enough to pay the car installment.."
Answer: This depends on how the person manage their financial.

"You need a guarantor.."
Answer: Based on all the facts I gave you, you are still not confident that I can pay the installment? How about the government servant that earned only RM800++, but still can buy a new car without any guarantor?

People are already reluctant to buy new cars because they get very fucking unattractive prices for their used cars, now they face another one, on getting a loan to buy a car to replace their traded-in used car. In my girl's case, to buy a new car without any debts recorded into the CCRIS or CTOS?

The bank is so unfair these days. The answer they usually gave us, it is the policy and we can't do anything about that. I am really pissed off right now.

p/s: Bank Islam is the largest Islamic Bank in Malaysia and they claimed to run their operation based on Islamic Financial System. Islamic finance that is really non-Islamic.

Tuntutan SwissCash: Mengelirukan?

27 Januari 2010, Suruhanjaya Sekuriti Malaysia telah melantik PricewaterhouseCooper sebagai pengurustadbir tuntutan SwissCash. Di atas notis borang tuntutan, ada menyatakan notis ini akan memberi kesan undang-undang terhadap orang yang menuntut duit tersebut.

Akuan Berkanun diperlukan untuk menuntut wang tersebut dan memberi maklumat palsu akan dihukum, di bawah seksyen Akta Akuan Berkanun 1960, dihukum di bawah kanun Jenayah.

Section 181 of Penal Code, False Statement on oath to public servant or person authorized to administer an oath.

Sekiranya kita tahu, atau percaya ianya palsu, atau tak percaya ianya benar, boleh dipenjara sehingga 3 tahun dan juga akan didenda untuk amaun tertentu. Mungkin bagi orang biasa, ini akan seperti mengelirukan, tetapi itulah undang-undang.

Bagi orang yang hendak menuntut kerugian di dalam SwissCash, pastikan amaun yang dituntut itu betul kerana jika tidak, kemungkinan untuk didenda atau lebih teruk lagi, dipenjarakan itu ada. Semua maklumat yang kita perlukan hilang di dalam database SwissCash dahulu, dan kita kebanyakannya tiada bukti transaksi. Team Sarawak Kalah Lawan Team Harimau Muda

Well, sik dapat nak madah apa2 gik. Speechless! Marah ada juak, tapi sikpat nak komen lebih2. Apa gik penyebab kekalahan. Walaupun orang madah bola ya bulat dan apa2 boleh berlaku, tapi jangan la kalah agik. Lejuk dah orang Sarawak nangga team dirik mpun kalah jak2. Kenak la pandei kalah 1-0 lawan Harimau Muda?

Makin hari, makin lemah dah nyawa ngenang semua tok. Ria dalam news, madah nak menjanjikan perubahan. Agaknya perubahan yang lebih sik bagus? Work harder guys!

Aku sentiasa berdoa team kita akan mencapai kegemilangan balit. Sak dapat buka mata orang Malaysia tok. Kita dolok SPORT POWERHOUSE. Aku ada buku ya, time SUKMA dolok dapat. Even time Sukma 1990, aku ada nangga! 3 kali SUKMA kita menang.

Sarawakian Mindset?

Hari tok kita kelaka pasal mindset. Cuba kita fikir, kita tok bertuah jadi orang Sarawak. Mun kita jadi orang negeri lain, mesti kita sikpat survive. Sebagai contoh, mun kita jadi orang Korea or Jepun, tauk ada gik orang lain yang lebih baik dari kita. Mun kita diam di Sarawak, and kita pun mentaliti macam orang Korea or Jepun, nang senang kita mok berjaya.

Mun nak ubah mindset tok, kita mesti ubah perangei. Maksud mindset tok ialah pemikiran atau karakter kita and gine kita respon dalam menghadapi sesuatu keadaan ya. Jadi, mindset yang betul boleh ubah sesuatu keputusan ya jadi lebih baik. Gia juak sebaliknya.

Kita mesti jadi positif dan biarkan yang negatif ya berlalu pergi. Susah nak polah, tapi sik mustahil. Satu-satunya cara, kick the negative things out! Hadapi jak apa jak cabaran yang datang ya sebaik-baiknya and jangan pandang belakang gik.

Aku kelaka hal tok bukan apa. Mula-mula dolok, aku nang cepat kamboh. Tapi bila ku nangga ada orang lain yang nampak lebih tabah dari aku, lebih kuat dari aku, boleh rasa takut juak. Aku dah dapat atasi beberapa masalahku dengan berfikiran positif.

And tahap positif tok mesti ada dalam setiap orang. Jadi, mun nak berjaya, mesti berfikiran macam orang Jepun, Korea, Cina dan India. Tok la kuasa yang cuba menguasai dunia kinek tok.

Well, this one I received from my friend just now. Sik sangka juak perempuan tok nang berani la. Sampei famous sigek Malaysia dah nya tok. Tauk sik berani nya nak molahal gik. Lain kali jangan cerobeh gilak mulut. Gik rasa. Nak nganok orang pun berpada-pada la sikit.

Kecik ati orang Sarawak dipadah kau gia. Jangan gia ba. Mek orang pun orang Malaysia juak. Sik la semua mek orang macam ya nak? Lagikpun, no offence la, perempuan Sarawak nang banyak HOT pun.

Anyway, walaupun orang Sarawak berbilang kaum dan agama, bila kitak orang anok jak Sarawak, mek orang pasti bersatu. Percayalahhhh. Haha. Tangga la Group We Hate Farhani Tarmizi dalam Facebook ya, nang rami la join. Sampei sikpat masok FB tek. Ish. Ish.

My Weekend

Apa khabar semua? Berjumpa kita lagik dalam ruangan tok. So far, weekend ku best jak. Spend masa dengan orang tersayang. Yang paling best, mek duak nangga cerita Adnan Sempit. Cerita tok diintroduce kawan ku. Mula-mula malas nak nangga. Confirm banyak species manusia yang ku sik suka sia. Sorry to say la, bukan racist, tapi mun orang ngeso olah, aku nang pantang bena nangga. Mun jak olah tek bagus.

Berbalik kepada cerita Adnan Sempit tek, nang best. Cerita tok pasal despatch yang rasa dirik mat rempit, coba nak nekel bos nya. Last2, bos nya tek nyuruh nya nyamar jadi gerek sebab sikmok kalah ngan dak kawan2 high class nya ya. Last2, nya dapat juak nekel bos nya tek. Heheh. Mun mok tauk cerita ya, tangga la wayang oh. Bukan mahal pun. RM8 jak. Mun Rabu, RM5 jak. Esok lusak gik ya.

Team Sarawak kalah lawan Felda United. 4-1 ria. Ku dah sik tauk nak madah apa gik. Bukan main gik dalam news madah akan ada perubahan la, kejutan la. Nang terkejut la juak ku sebab nya kalah. Adoh. Aku support team negeri tok, tapi ya la tek, macam semua rakyat Malaysia juak yang selalu nganok moto Proton, sikda pilihan ba, sokong jak la. Mudahan Team Sarawak berubah. Coba la kitak orang ambik Safri Amit main balit. Sik la nya stuck rah ofis Brooke ya.

Aku dah bersama blog tok since May 2008.. Dah lamak bena dah.. Sik berasa.. Ya la ku sayang gilak.. Lamak dah ku sik update.. Tok baruk ada masa lately.. Orang selalu complain blog ku tok dalam English, susah nak faham.. Mun susah, kitak org belajar la English ohh.. Pelik ktk org ya..

Tapi bena juak la.. Sejak ku masok Uni, jarang dah ku kelaka Melayu.. Nasib kerja kinek tok ada kelaka Melayu balit.. Tapi time meeting, English juak.. Hahaha.. Sikpa la.. Janji kita balance.. Lagipun kita orang Sarawak mesti pandei English.. Ya nang asas pelajaran kita untuk sekian lama.. Ya la ku sik berapa favor gilak ngan Dasar Pendidikan Negara tok.. Malas ku nak komen banyak, jadi isu blog tok kelak.. Bak kata aku tek, Aku sayang blog aku..

Movie: The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus

I went to watch the movie The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus, and it was a clueless day for me. I'll tell you why I say clueless in a while. Main actor for this movie is the late Heath Ledger, who died during the 1/3 completion of the movie. His role further replaced by Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell.

This movie is about Doctor Parnassus, who has the ability to guide one's mind whether to choose good or evil through his magic mirror. Why did I say I was clueless? Because I was so mesmerized looking at the graphic in the movie, and I don't even know what the movie is all about until I read the synopsis. I even in my other state of mind on my way home after watching the movie because it kept on playing in my head.

There you go. I was clueless. But, I recommend you read the synopsis first if you want to really enjoy the movie.

I woke up early, at 3.30am just to watch Arsenal vs Portsmouth match. In that match, Fabregas was injured and to my suprise, Aaron Ramsey was in the starting eleven. In the end, Arsenal beat Portsmouth 4-1.

We support you, give you the mandate to rule us, but you ask us not to expect jobs from you? That's cruel.

Well, that's life anyway. Maybe the government doesn't have money to hire people like me anymore.

Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak announced that we're going to have our own Malaysian F1 team consist of Malaysians in it. Wow! That was, SOMETHING!

Even the team name is so patriotic! Wow! I can't stop saying Wow! since I heard the news. Wow! I just hope that we won't ended up like Minardi when Alex Yoong was the driver.

Wow! 1st India, then USA. Now Malaysia. Wow! And the investment is through Proton! Wow!

I found out at the price of Proton Gen2 in the middle east is much cheaper than in our own country. That's another Wow! And the full specs of middle east Gen2 is like the price of my 1.3 BASIC Gen2. Wow!

I saw this in Yahoo! News just now. Malaysia's government has barred Muslims from a concert by the Black Eyed Peas next month because the event is organized by Irish beer giant Guinness, an official said Thursday.

"Muslims cannot attend. Non-Muslims can go and have fun," an official at the Ministry of Information, Communication and Culture.

Haha. Nice one by the government! Don't you know that most Malays have their own bar at home? For many years claiming ourselves as Muslim country, just one person going to be canned for drinking? Come on!

Honestly, I was thinking that our football teams financial problem and lack of sponsorship is because we don't let Dunhill sponsor us anymore. Where are the rich companies in Malaysia? Can't you do something about our professional league?

Yasmin Ahmad Passed Away

Our own famous and controversial film director, Yasmin Ahmad passed away yesterday at 11.25pm after admitted to Damansara Specialist Hospital since last 2 days.

She passed away due to internal bleeding in the brain caused by stroke. Last Thursday, she was admitted to intensive care unit (ICU), Damansara Medical Specialist Center.

I was really sad and cried when I received the news because she has been my inspiration of creativity. Thank you Yasmin! May Allah bless her soul.

18th KOI Karate World Cup and TV3 Sure Heboh

2009 KOI karate world cup was held in Kuching this weekend, as well as Sure Heboh and AF7 Reunion Concert. But then, the police was all over the city because they have some kind of training before the Rulers of Malaysia have this convention.

It was fun when I watched the karate competition. It has been a long time since I watched martial art competition. I was also in the same stadium when there was a Silat competition when I was in form 6.

But, my advice is, don't ever bring your feminine girlfriend to martial art competition. You will lost your concentration.

Not even 1 hour, my girlfriend dragged me out and we went to the Sure Heboh event at the Stadium Negeri's carpark.

It was so damn hot and I was feel like burning. At the same time, My MP3 player played the song by Sean Kingston - Fire Burning. Haha.

It was fun though. I'll be watching the competition again tomorrow for the finals. The Malaysian team was so good, it was a joyful to watch! Malaysia Boleh!

Politic, Terrorism..

I really condemn the inhuman terrorist bombing at two Jakarta hotels (JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton) which killed eight people, and I would like to extend my condolences to the Indonesian government and people as well as the families of the victims.

I was shocked, angry and sad because many innocent people became the victims. I can't tell you what are my feelings right now.

Let me share you something about this comic strip:

Where is the freedom of speech? There is no freedom of speech in Malaysia, I guess? Power of distance are really far. I'm a government supporter, but I'll think again. The media? The government control it. The business distribution, the government control it. All things are controlled by the government. When bad things done by the opposition, the media will condemn them. But when the government themselves did bad things, nothing happen.

Peoples come first? Yeah, right! Hard to find jobs nowadays, especially for fresh graduate, unless they attend the training and placement, or GEMS program. Then again, not all can be selected for the program too.

And the banks? Don't let me start! Inconsiderate banks of Malaysia! Too many bullshit terms and conditions. Where's the promise to help people that is not a permanent employee/ contractual to get the loan in order to avoid them to borrow from loan shark? I am posting this with my mind right and in order, not because I'm not satisfied with the banks. Even I have seen people faced this situation before and they ended up borrowing from loan shark.

I don't know what to expect from the government anymore. I'll be registering to become a voter for election in a few days and I'm losing my faith to the government. I guess, working in government statutory bodies are different from working with the government itself.

Harry Potter?

Well, what can I say? I'm not a Harry Potter fan, but I was forcing myself to watch it last night. As told to me earlier by my cousin's husband, people who is a techno geek, must really hate the movie. I'm not considering that I hate it, but it really didn't suit my soul. Haha.

I was following the story with full interest from start to the end, but to my suprise, for whom that didn't read the book, the ending was really bad. For who had read the novel, you'll think that the movie is great, like my brother.

After Dumbledore dead, then the school became hectic, suddenly Harry, Hermionie and Wes talking at the tower, watching some sort of red bird flying in the sky, then the end. What is that?? That's mean have to wait another movie to know the ending? My God..

I was really tired after went back from work, then I was expecting the movie to be great. In the end, I was really in a bad mood. Damn!

Malaysia 4 - 0 Zimbabwe

There are a lot of doubts raised by people about the status of Zimbabwe National Team that was beaten by our team. Zimbabwe Football Association confirmed that the team is the national team and approved by FIFA.

Kinda relieved to see the national team able to win a match with an African team which is proven to be a lot stronger. Even Zimbabwe's ranking is better than us.

To those people that doubted our national team, remember during the Inter Continental Cup? We beat Iraq and draw with Nigeria. Unfortunately, we can't get through to semi final.

Goal.com, Zimbabwe Tribune, all reported that the team is the national team, except for Zimbabwe Metro, which reported the team as Monomotapa United, the country's league champion.

Well, all the best for the national team. Hope you can beat the crap out of Manchester United.

Sarawak Football On The Way to Third Division?

Sarawak lost to ATM 2-1 the other day and could be playing in the third division next season. Something that would not be good because even the other state teams, they only went down from Super to Premier only, like Selangor. But at least Selangor still in the top league.

Sarawak used to have fierce rivalries with Selangor, Sabah and Kuala Lumpur. But now, it was just a memory, painful one. How can we hold on to our pride if we fall in the third league? Are we going to be just like Leeds United, Leicester United or Wimbledon? Those were once among the strong teams in the top flight of English football.

Joseph Kallang, Khalid Hamlet, Dzulazlan Ibrahim, Zamri Morshidi and Abang Za'afari Othman among the names that we know that can play well, but the end product is not there. I really hope that they can play well and return the Sarawak team to pride and glory.

Because I am a contract staff? What's wrong with that? Even permanent staffs might get released from their jobs.. Just because I have TRAINEE title in front of my designation, doesn't mean I work for a short period only..

Nowadays, bank is the place to borrow money which have a lot of regulations and requirements, then need guarantors, this and that forms, sign agreements, etc. Islamic country during The Prophet Muhammad's time was so rich, because they have Islamic finance and banking that is fair to everyone, without extra charges or interests, but based on collaborative profit, done sincerely without any terms and conditions, unlike nowadays..

But wait, the bank that I applied that loan is an Islamic bank.. Duh.. (Scratching his head..)

The bank name is.. Uhm.. Better I make it as a secret because I don't think Islamic finance here in Malaysia any better than conventional finance..

That's why, when I think again, the bank is much worse than loan sharks..

It's my birthday today. I was born on 4th July 1984, 10.30am.

Today, it was great! I'll list my activity for the day:

1. Fetch my girl up from home, had some drink at her house while chit chat with her parents.

2. We went to the barbershop because I need a haircut. Seriously, now I look like Lubau Genam, one of our manager. Haha.

3. Then we went to my house for a while because I need to wash my hair after the haircut.

4. Then we went for lunch at Tun Jugah Food Gallery. We ordered Butter Chicken Rice (The best in Kuching so far).

5. Movie time. Ice Age 3, Dawn of the Dinosour!

6. Went for a romantic walk. Haha.

7. Quick dinner at Pizza Hut at Choice Supermall.

Now I'm home, reminiscing every moments that I had today.

Thanks for the birthday wishes from all my family and friends. I received a nice present from my girl, a home-made keychain and birthday card.

Why Celcom Sucks?

I heard many complains about Celcom services. Frequent communication problems, late credit transfer, even late reload (especially using this flexi reload system), then 3G coverage is not consistent, etc.

And now, I faced the same situation too! They promoted this Credit Advance so that we can somehow borrow RM2 from Celcom if we really in need of it. I am in so damn emergency, and suddenly I remembered about the service. So, I tried to request for RM2. To my disappointment, being so faithful with Celcom, I can only use the service after 6 months of registration.

Here it goes, WHAT THE F*CK!!

Look at the red circle! It said, nevermind, you can get credit advance for RM2. Celcom never show anything about being 6 months customer, then you can get the credit advance? I am really disappointed right now. I switched from Xpax to Celcom Blue after reading the information in Celcom's Website.

And yet, before this, in order to transfer credit, you must use at least RM30 after you activated the simcard. Oh my God! I'm so pissed off right now!

Crazy Celcom! Crazy TM! No choice, therefore people have to go for them as the service provider. Streamyx 1MB package, but only can download for about 150++kbps. Sh*t!

p/s: I totally felt cheated right now.

I have something to show to everyone. I actually like to watch romantic movies. Not just ordinary love stories, but something that empower your love to your partner and God. It's been a while that I'm trying to change to be a better person, with full of love in my heart. Thankfully, everything went well.

I wanted to share to you this new film, which has already been released in Indonesia but no yet in Malaysia. It was premiered on 11th June 2009 in Indonesia. This is another adaptation of Habiburrahman El Shirazy's novel after Ayat-Ayat Cinta, based on scenery of Egypt and Indonesia. This novel adaptation is among most anticipated by art lovers in Indonesia, mostly related to religion community.

Honestly, I will attend its premier when it reached Malaysia later, Insya Allah. Even by reading the novel can make someone heartless and cruel (used to be) like me to follow each pages of the novel which consists of 2 novels, part 1 and 2.

Hopefully, the movie will be as good as the novel.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Seriously, I love that movie because I like those robots so much. My favourite character will always be Optimus Prime. The only things that sucks in the movie is one of my favourite car is Decepticons. Audi RS8 is a Decepticon!

He's not really a decepticon by the way. In the animation series, he is an agent for Unicron (for those who still remember, the transformer who can transforms into a planet), and can be as Autobots and Decepticons, in order to cause confusion between both sides and to avoid them from allying together against Unicron.

Overall, Thumbs Up! Hopefully, there will be the third Transformers. Heheh.

p/s: Megan Fox was really hot! And I like that Decepticons Pretender too, played by Isabel Lucas!

Sarawak As An Example of 1Malaysia

Finally, the government announced something right! Yes, We Sarawakians are the best example of 1Malaysia. You know why? Because Sarawak shows Malaysia the true reflection of the ‘unity through diversity’ culture.

We're always the best and we also provided most of the income for Malaysia through our oil and gas. Yes, we should be given more priority in running the country.

We respect the culture and festival of eveyone’s ethnic group and we attended them while having really much fun. Besides, Sarawakians have already adopted this unity concept before 1Malaysia's concept ever exist.

I've been into so many places, studied in so many schools. No matter where I go, I didn't see any problems to fit in. Everyone has been nice to me. The treated me like they are family.

Hopefully, with 1Malaysia, the term 'Lain-lain' in classifying races in Malaysia should be abolished. Or else, just put ther term 'Orang Sarawak' instead. Heheh.

Lately, everything went smooth and I'm far away free from stress. I have been attending some courses about Human Resource Management, which I think really different from my position now.

I have this feeling that I will work in this HR field in just a matter of time. Besides, during the photoshoot of participant in the HR meeting for state statutory bodies and government linked companies yesterday, my face was there! (Of course, look younger than the rest because I am the one!).

Besides, I think I should start to wear smart shirts and slack, with leather shoes, as well as neckties. Haha. Because, yesterday I'm among the 4 people who didn't wear necktie and coat. Damn! Hehe.

When Life Got Tougher

These few months have been so hard for me. I can't sleep well every night, worrying about my financial instability. This is the first time that I'm living my own life, paying for my own expenses. To handle these burdens with a limited salary is really tough.

I have never been restless before because I can handle things easily. Since I have some conscious about 'blessed' life, told by some spiritual leader in TV the other day, I really feel bad about myself.

I must confess that I'm not a good person. I've done so many bad things before and I can feel that God is punishing me now so that I realized my mistakes.

I'm holding on tight with my faith and I'm trying my best to be a better person.

Mosque Was Attacked Mercilessly

11 Muslim worshippers were killed and shot mercilessly in a mosque on Monday evening during the Isyak prayer in Sungai Golok, Southern Thailand. The eyewitnesses could hear screaming from the mosque followed by a commotion as everyone tried to escape.

And yet, they were shooting at lifeless bodies again and again as if to make sure that they were really dead. I was really shocked, sad and angry because of the incident. Southern Thailand is the most bloodiest region of all Thailand.

The incident happened during Thailand Prime Minister was in his official visit to Malaysia. He was said to be committed to end the conflict, but nothing happened. I believe brothers and sisters in Islam will feel angry and sad too.

I hope and pray to Allah that all the conflicts will end. If not, more Muslim will be dead. I wonder, we Muslim were the one that usually get killed but these separatist of extremist still say Muslims are terrorist. Get your facts right first.

Bad Experience at Mobile Phone Shop

This was my experience last year. I'm posting this blog because my friend was cheated when he bought his new phone few days ago. So, here is the story. I was surveying for a phone while my friend wanted to buy a new mobile phone. So, we went for a few shops. There was a shop that offered the lowest price among all and we decided to buy it there.

At first, by the time my friend confirmed the purchase of RM750 and the shop owner just about to sign the warranty card, I asked him about the content. He suddenly said, if you want the charger, you need to add another RM30. So, I quickly take the warranty card, pretending that I want to read the content. But, the warranty card only state the shop's name, contact details, and official seal of the shop.

I then pretend that I wanted to buy the charger too. Then he charged us for another RM50 for the earphone and USB cable. In my mind, I was totally pissed off, but I continued my act. I said, I'll take it, and I ask for the memory card. He said, we need to add another RM70 for 1GB memory card. What the Heck?!

The total price for the phone now is RM900! But I still in my calm mode and I said to him that other shops sell the phone for RM780 for the complete set with 2GB memory card. He said the other shops were cheating their customer by selling the AP set and he sells the original set.

Dude! Seriously?! I was there because I saw your shop was without any customer, and you claim your set is original?! I was using the phone for more than a decade, since I was in primary 6! I know how to differentiate original and AP set, you moron! Just look at the warranty card! And you don't even include the charger, earphone and the USB cable! Dumbass!

After listening the long lecture of lies from the shop owner, I pulled my friend out from there and the shop owner was really pissed off with us. Racist bastard! You're insulting me by telling me being a stupid Malay. For your info, I'm a Malay with many relatives of various races. I don't look at people by their race. I know that I'm being so smart because I didn't buy from that shop.

In the end, I went to my friend's shop to buy the phone and I managed to buy the phone for RM720. My advice, always buy from places that you know best.

My Childhood?

Many people told me that they missed their childhood. Why? Because they have a lot of toys, play around with friends, loved by everyone, etc.

But me? I didn't miss it much because I a few reasons. Firstly, I don't have much toys. My parents only bought me the mini car like Hot Wheels for me and my toys are mostly cars. That's why I like cars so much because that's what I grew up with.

Secondly, I don't have much friends. When I played football with my friends, my grandmother and mother will ask me to go back and play with my brother. When my friends played at our house, they also didn't like it. Weird.

Next, I didn't feel love much because I'm the eldest. Yea, I know the eldest will be the leader and didn't have to be pampered too much. But until now it annoyed me when to think about it. I didn't get the priority of attention that often.

As far as I know, I didn't have the potential that was 'good' in my parent's eye. Yeah, my younger brother is an engineering student and always obtained good results. My degree is not enough to show them what I'm capable of. So, everyone will praise my brother.

Jealousy is not the issue here. I may think that this is somehow a curse for me. But when I think again, I'm lucky! At least I'm not too dependent on anyone, I can figure out things that I don't know, My closest friends are supportive of me (a few only), I got a good job, A really nice girlfriend that really fit to my requirement, etc.

p/s: I was watching this Malay drama last night at TV3. Haha. Something happened after I watched the movie.

Today's Seminar & My Cousin Became Victim of Snatch Thieves!

I was sent by the company to attend a seminar about SME and SMI Intellectual Property Awareness at the Old Court House. Honestly, structured workmanship of our company is not suitable for that kind of discussion.

I still prefer attending best practise workshops or skill development seminars, which are applicable to our daily works.

I was a bit lucky because I finally have a chance to meet LARRY SNG. Haha. Maybe you think that is a lame statement but shaking hand with the youngest politician in Sarawak is a very proud moment for me. Young, good-looking and powerful. Haha.

Then, came sad moment for me when my cousin called me saying that she was robbed by snatch thieves while riding home. In the incident, she lost her laptop and handphone. but luckily, she was alright. Everyone is blaming her for being not careful enough.

Felt sorry for her though. It was not her fault. Things happened when we least expected. That's Malay culture anyway. When the child lost something, everyone blame him/her. But when the child lost their life, everyone cry and blame the thieves. Which one do you prefer? Being angry because the child lost the things, or being sad and guilty because the child lost his/her life? Think again.

Special Loan Scheme to Prevent Ah Long Scheme?

The government are having a research to setup a special loan scheme for people without permanent jobs to avoid them to borrow money from Ah Long since loan nowadays are only offered to people with permanent jobs and government servants.

But, WHY NOW?

After all these while, WHAT ARE YOU ALL DOING? SLEEPING?

When many people have been the victim, then you start taking action?

I don't know how do you feel when looking at the victim that were captured and tortured by the Ah Long, but I was really angry, sad and pissed off! I've known a few Ah Long myself, but they didn't treat their debtors like that.

The government said this scheme is complicated because they need to come out with some efficient ways for the debtors to make repayments without forcing them.

Remember this, 1MALAYSIA. PEOPLE FIRST, PERFORMANCE NOW!

Always put people's need first.

I bet the government will not have any problems implementing it because they have a lot of 'excellent minds' that they hired, unlike me and the rest of my friends who are eager to serve the country and the government, but never had a chance because there are no single damn news from our SPA applications! Where were the thousands of jobs available in the government bodies as said by the Ministry of Human Resources? Gosh!

And no matter how influential the opposition parties right now trying to take over Malaysia, we still support the government! I guess when Malaysia fell to the opposition someday, then they will look for people like us. Haha.

Ah Long vs Banks

3 debtors to Ah Long in Selangor was abducted and locked up in inhumane way. The incident where these men were chained by their necks and legs, and showed signs of having beaten by their captors after being abducted for failing to pay up their debts of between RM1,500 and RM4,000.

I was really shocked and appalled at the level of cruelty Ah Long inflict on defaulters and I hope authorities to take action against them because it was too much. They were so influential, they can do whatever they want because they triggered fear to people around them. Even people don't dare to report to the police.

That's why I always realize the danger and negative implications of borrowing money from Ah Long. But yet, they were considered as the messiah or savior when people need money because it was too DAMN HARD to borrow money from the bank if you're not illegible, especially in the time of emergency.

Like me, for example. Yes, I have only started working, and I have a few debts to pay, which is my car and house. I still have some balance for my expenses. But when I tried to apply for a CREDIT CARD, the result is so DAMN DISAPPOINTING! They always rejected my application. So, my impression is I would NEVER get a loan because credit card application always got rejected.

Yea. Maybe people like me who was just started working came across the same situation, or it just myself who feel this way?

p/s: I don't think ORANG-ORANG BESAR pay on time though. They are given exception because they borrow millions of ringgits. I felt like the distance of power between the rich and the poor are getting further.

Rape Cases Are Increasing

This month alone, there are 2 rape cases happened in Kuching. This really freaked me out. The 1st case was on 21st May where a 14 years old girl was raped under overhead bridge at Jalan Tun Abdul Rahman Yaakub and the other case, 4 days later when a 12 years old was raped at Samariang area. Both victims were waiting for their parents to pick them up from school and they were alone when it happened.

Another case involved 8 men gang rape case in Siburan. What is happening in the world today?

They were young and can be easily panicked because they are not alert and can be easily cheated by strangers. Before this, nobody bother about this. But when this thing happened, everyone start blaming and pointing to each other.

This triggered fear and anxiety among parents especiallt parents who have children staying in the hostel. When talking about hostel, A UiTM student who almost raped while taking a bath at her college 6 months ago is suing the university for negligence. She said that UiTM failed to ensure safety at the campus including the college area.

And what is more shocking is, she claimed that despite many complains made on incidents of sexual harrassment in the college, no actions have been taken to ensure safety of the students over there.

Well, who would dare to complain because the management will usually won't listen and ignore the case just to keep their "integrity" or "good image". Besides, they are the public university. We always know their attitude. I've been listening to this matters for a long time and yet, I never heard any actions have been taken. Always "tutup kes".

Well, that's life. People are getting more evil everyday due to exposure to bad media.

METAL!!!

I was surfing around Youtube the other day and I found TRIVIUM with the song Kirisute Gomen. I was tempted to it, until the music been playing in my ears for these few weeks. Oh, I am totally addicted to Metal again. Haha.

How I wish I can have my own metal band. Haha. They are considered an excellent band because all the music reviews about them are good. But, some people consider them overrated, just like Adam Lambert. Haha.

Well, they didn't win the Barclay's English Premier League. But the youth of Arsenal can be proud of themselves when they lifted the Academy League trophy by beating Tottenham Hotspur, 1-0.

The team is led by Steve Bould, former Arsenal center-back during the era of Adam, Bould, Keown, Dixon and Winterburn. Arsene Wenger who is known for his emphasis on youth, would have to consider to move a few players from the junior team to the senior squad with the brilliant display during the final.

I guess, there are more power to the youth!

Interview, Interviewer and My View

My friend went to an interview today, and she cried to me after the interview. She said that the interviewer insulted her. Some of the answers are, "Balik rumah la, jadi cikgu..", "Kalau suara kecik, mana boleh buat sales..", etc. She was so depressed by the time I typed this post.

I consider this as the Stressed Interview. Some interviewer try to get you upset intentionally. They want to see how you handle stress, whether you can accept criticism, or how you react to a tense situation. They hope to see how you are likely to act in a high-pressure job.

For example, they might try to upset you by rejecting things you say as true, like the one I pointed out above. Another approach is to quickly fire questions at you, but not give you time to completely answer, or to interrupt you mid-sentence with other questions.

I hope she didn't run into this type of interviewer because she's a focused type of person, soft-spoken, analytic, attractive and persuasive. I always think inconsiderate people like these are Assholes because when you think you're 'somebody', you'll bully 'everybody'.

I met a few people, dressed smartly, act like a boss, but they don't do their works well anyway. Such as the interviewers I pointed out earlier. They only know how to talk, talk and talk only. From my observence, these people always get the high position because of their Kiss-My-Ass attitude. But don't get me wrong. Not all of them are like that. I knew many people of this kind can do their work well.

Believe me, there's a girl at my office, doing the purchasing stuffs, is a quiet girl. But she can do her jobs well. She has to meet with vendors, sub contractors and many people related to the company and people found her presence, pleasing!

After having a few chat with my friend, I asked her again whether she wants to work for such a person or organization? My dear friend, I would say no. It's not a good place to increase your knowledge and productivity. Look for other job k?

p/s: I'm lucky to work with a few people that are the best in their field and blessed me with a good place to kick off my career.

Bad Things Happened In These Few Days

In Kuantan, a teenaged couple, who had spent the night together having sex in the girl’s house, was caught after the boyfriend apparently overslept. The girl’s stepmother was shocked to find the naked man in bed with the sleeping girl when she came to wake her up for school on Tuesday morning. And yet, the case has been classified as rape. What the hell is that? Rape? Unconditional love is rape? You better get both of them married. That's how things work. So weird the parents nowadays. To avoid them commit sins, that's the best way. Marriage!

A few days ago, we heard a news about a pregnant woman in Johor fell off her motorcycle onto the pavement when snatch thieves grabbed her bag then she went into a coma and died on Tuesday. Yesterday, Another pregnant woman in Kelantan met with a tragic end in a snatch theft when she fell off her motorcycle and was run over by a car. I don't know about over here, but the other month, a snatch thief tried to rob a guy in Kuching Waterfront and chased by the public who saw the incident. Then, he was badly injured by the public. Eyewitnesses said that he broke most of his arms and leg bones and only be able to move into the ambulance using the trolley bed. And yet, these snatch thieves never learn their lesson.

There is also a man tried to slash his father with a parang after he was ticked off for “living in sin” with his girlfriend. The father, who could not tolerate the couple living together, had also advised the son to marry his girlfriend to prevent the neighbours from gossiping. The son is believed to be a drug addict and an alcoholic. Why is it hard to get married? If you can live together, afford to buy drugs and alcohol, but not food to the family? Weird!

There are too many bad things happened nowadays and I hope people will realise tha living in committing sins will never bring you anywhere, but will only damage yourself.

Arsenal Lost, Proton Exora and My New Shirt?

According to the topic, those 3 made up my day.

Firstly, Arsenal lost to Manchester United in the UEFA Champions League. I'm a bit disappointed, just like Arsene Wenger said during the press conference, but totally outclassed by a better team and held back by various factors made the loss to give more moral boost in the future. Being a young team to achieve this level is truly one hell of achievement. So, congratulations to Man Utd and good luck for the final. I'm still hoping Macheda could play for the European campaign. Haha.

Proton Exora, what about it? Well, I'm interested to buy one, after I saw this picture:

I didn't expect the MPV can turn out to be like this. Nice and elegant. I think it can suit me well because I'm planning to sell my Gen-2. Heheh. I'm still in love with our own national car. I kept on telling myself to buy a Toyota or Nissan, but since Proton launch Exora, I can't think of another car. It really attracted me. Until a few nights ago, I dreamed of owning one. 3 das in a row, I keep on dreaming about Proton Exora. Haha.

Lastly, about my shirt. I feel happy today because everyone said that my shirt look nice. Hehe. It was a Citroen Rally Team Crew Shirt that I bought from Serikin. I found 1 in town last week, but it was so expensive, yet it look so much alike. Haha. So, why waste money? It pays to drive all the way to Serikin just to buy something similar. Besides, the petrol would only cost you RM10 if you're driving small car. Heheh.

It's so quiet in the office today and I don't know why. People around me are so hardworking, they don't even move even an inch. Hehe.

I hope they will beat Man Utd in the Champion's League semi final. I would love to see them become European champion. The almost got it the other year. Haha. I know, people will hate me for supporting Arsenal.

Lately, ku suka baca novel. Selain dari baca buku2 yg berkaitand dengan kerja, ku dah habis baca 3 novel. Bila Cinta Bertasbih 1 & 2, and Ayat-ayat cinta, karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. At least memberi makna dalam hidup ku lepas baca novel ya.

Rasanya, this evening nak pergi pantei la. Nak mandi laut. Mudahan jak sik hujan. Mun hujan, frust woo. Heheh.

All In A Day's Work

I'm so tired today! But I still managed to find time to rest! Hehe. I finished the 3-days Primavera training and it was good. I managed to learn a lot from the course and hopefully, I can utilize it in my works.

I'm in the Organizational Development and Business Proposal Unit for the Project Management Office already. The newly and most anticipated department of all departments in the company. Wow! The only thing that I'm afraid of is what if the management expectation level is way too high? But, it will be a good challenge!

My girl went to an interview today. Hope she did her best! She went for this parent company for KLIUC interview for Junior Account Executive. Girl? You're a marketer, but I was really impressed that you got the interview. All the best!

Yeah! The PC is up and running! I can't wait for work tomorrow. Hopefully, days ahead will always be a happier days.

p/s: I'm counting my days to apply for my 1st leave. I need to modify my car. Some funny noises came out this morning and I know, the time to have it serviced is near. Cheers!

3rd Anniversary

Today marks the third year I'm with my girl. 3 sweet years with her and I love her more each and every day. She is totally the love of my life. Well, many people said that we're not a perfect match, but who cares? 3 years are the longest period of my love relationship up to this time, and we don't have any problems with each other.

Girl, I know that I maybe one of the most annoying people, emotionless, bad-tempered, etc, but believe me, I really love you. I always pray for us to be in love together and build a happy family in the near future.

What we do? We watched the horror movie, Jangan Tegur, which I can consider better than the previous Jangan Pandang Belakang and I was quite scared too during the last exorcist session. Haha. Then we went for tea time then we went to the beach. It was a great time!

Baby? You will always be in my heart forever. Thanks for the pen and card. I really love it.

Work.. Work and Work..

Lately I always posted about work. I love my job! Hehe. Before that, I want to congratulate Arsenal for the 3-0 victory against Villareal and that was a great match! Haha. Proud to be an Arsenal supporter! Well, Man Utd also won, unfortunately, Macheda didn't score. Huhu.

Well, work is great today. The new manager came in and explained the tasks. For now, I can consider myself an interior designer because I handle the office layout. Kesian la the office sebelah because we need a lot of space. Dah la they will have another 4 people coming in. Aiyo..

I will handle all the proposal of Hook Up things and assist my supervisor to do some HR things. Haha. No more handling Primavera! Our office also look nice sudah. Haha. Tersusun, but I'm still sitting near to the toilet. Really bad Feng Shui. Haha.

Nice to see people with different background came together in one department. The more, the merrier!

I'm Tired and Sleepy

After the whole day working at the Jox Expo at Taman Kereta yesterday, I feel so tired and sleepy. I slept at 12 midnight and woke up at 6 in the morning. I know that's normal, but I have never work in the weekend before. Hehe.

It was a busy day where a lot of people applied for Brooke Dockyard. Most of them are from Western Digital. I never thought that Western Digital would shut down their operation here. Many behaviour that I can see at the job expo. And I know, many hopefuls that really need the jobs to support their family.

During this economic downturn, life will get a little bit hard and what important is, people never give up hope. I'm still waiting the right time to buy my netbook. Lenovo hopefully.

Well, it's kinda like a good Sunday. I was in the office waiting for my officemates gi breakfast. This Sunday, ada overtime, kerja kat Taman Kereta kat Permata, coz ada Job Expo. Sapa2 yang mok cari kerja, datang2 la. Brooke Dockyard pun ada offer kerja. Nak tahu? Datang la. Heheh.

Nothing much to do today. Hari hujan, and I'm totally sleepy right now. Bila lagi hari mok terang. Time hujan sangat la bahaya. Haha.

What Monday?

Like always, came to office exactly at 8am. Then had a few chat with my colleagues. The course today was cancelled due to some technical difficulties. So, I just read all articles related to my works.

I was reading something about hook up and commissioning until I found the newspaper on Rolando's table. So, I read it. I found a few interesting things in the news today. Firstly, Kuching is becoming more unsafe because many crimes happened. Soldier from Johor bashed by a few people and his bike was stolen by them. Then, A guy and his brother was attacked from behind at Waterfront, at around 4.30pm and A guy was robbed at a bank near Jalan Ang Cheng Ho, at 6.30pm. Wooo. It is really unsafe already in Kuching. Just like KL already. This really freaked me out.

Secondly, the election campaign is running high. I saw a page showed pictures of some building in Permatang Pauh which is old, saying that no development in Permatang Pauh for the past 27 years? Well, I can take picture of Kampungs in Malay area near the Sungai Sarawak and Tabuan, and advertise the same thing as well. Huhu. Am I being too radical here? But the government has been nice to all of us by providing everything we need. Electricity, roads (eventhough it is not as good as the one in other major cities), water supply, library for study (the best dating place), waterfront for recreation (eventhough it is not safe anymore), Boulevard and the Spring Mall, etc.

Besides, DBKU is very good nowadays because they didn't create any problems with hawkers or people who run businesses at the road side. Then people can park at the roadside at Pasar Minggu already, because before this, they will chase you away. Heheh. But I still hate they put large vases to avoid people park at the road side. Not a pretty view ba! Well. thank you very much! That's why we love our government!

Thirdly, Sarawak football is getting worse. The officials blamed the team for not performing well. What can you expect from young and inexperience player? Everything will be fine as time goes by. As the coach said, if the team work hard, they can overcome the problems and the easiest way to fail is by not trying.

Our CEO's earlier proposal of merging team and stadium management under one formal management setup, run as a pro club and reporting to a board comprising a collaboration of government, FAS and private sector is worth a try if Sarawak football seriously wanted to succeed. Unfortunately, the people in FAS the association that runs Sarawak football thought that our CEO's idea and style too radical for the comfort of some. But it works in many countries!

Haha. That was so strange that I posted something based on the news.

p/s: Manchester United won and I am happy because Macheda scored. I've been following his progress for a while and I'm glad that he can show to people that he's worthy to be a Man Utd's player. I'm excited because Arsenal can finally hold on to the 4th place after Aston Villa's defeat.

Zuwairi Enterprise?

So funny and annoying la this afternoon. I went to the mosque and after the prayer, papers in my pocket jatuh la. Then someone pick it up. Then he terus ask me whether I was the owner of Zuwairi Enterprise because he saw my name la on the paper. Then, I terus ketawa la. I said, "No la. Salah orang. I kerja ketuk kapal ba kat sejingkat."

Now, I was online to search for that Zuwairi Enterprise. Rupanya, that company dealer for Celcom Broadband somewhere area 3rd miles. Hehe. Famous jugak la my name, eventhough I know it's a rare name. Hehe.

Untuk dijadikan cerita, I was late for work because my tyre kereta kembang. Kesiannya, because the tyre is still in good condition. And to make it worst, my dad and I spent almost half and hour to unscrew the nut because it jammed! I didn't know what happen but I think the shop owner kedai tayar that I used to go before put it wrongly. My dad terus marah. Haha.

Tomorrow he gonna pasang the new screw. I already pokai, cannot do much. Tyre also I have to consider to buy but luckily, spare tyre is in good condition. Hehe.

I dreamed that I've been fired and I didn't bother to get out of bed (Kira macam between sedar and tak sedar la)
I had to take my cat for treatment (takkan menjadi if the boss is not animal-lover la)
I got all the way to the office and realized that I was still in my pyjamas. So, I went back to change it. (Huhu. I saw this before..)
I saw that you weren't in the office. So, I went out looking for you. (At my office, people in the office mesti cari people kat yard. Jauh jugak ba)
I couldn't find the right tie. So, I had to wait for the shop to open to buy one. (Nasib we all takda marketing department. Heheh. And luckily we don't have to wear smart2 all the time)
I ran over a goat, cow, etc. (Happen before. Hehe)
I stopped at the shop and suddenly it was robbed. The police required everyone for questioning. (If the boss is a detailed punya orang, he'll ask the police. If bohong, mati la!)
Some insect flew in my car and attacked me. So, I have to pull over. (No comment. Hehe)
Someone fainted at the road side and I have to send him/her to hospital. (Noble person ah? Hehe)

Today is Friday

Like always, Friday is the best day in a week for me because tomorrow is Saturday. At least we have time to rest kan? I can't blog much because I still haven't receive my PC. Hehe. Well, today is quite ok for me.

Came to office, relax2 minum kopi, then read a few articles related to my jobs, then ask people around how the company run the business. I learn a lot from the staffs. Hehe. They are also, which I consider, good people. They are supportive and resourceful.

The manager said I need to read a lot if I want to be successful. Eventhough I was never officially briefed on my job, but at least now I know what to do. =)

Tak lama lagi almost 11am. After this I need to get ready to go to the mosque for Friday prayer. But before that, I need to have my lunch first. To remember God, mesti tenang, and perut cannot too lapar or too kenyang. Hehe.

What A Day..

Today, I went to work like usual just to know that I was the one that have to do the presentation during the meeting. What?? I was expecting my other colleagues will divide the task, but since I'm the one with the post Business Proposal, I have to do it. Luckily they prepared the slides.

Well, I was a bit nervous at start, but when things went on, everything seems ok, until suddenly the GM went into his room, and left us just like that for a while. Everyone was kinda nervous. Haha. Then, he came back then we continued the meeting again.

Thankfully, everything went smooth eventhough I was a bit shaky during the presentation. It was my first time to present something in the company ba. Haha. Some staffs told me that my presentation is quite good for a beginner. Huhu. I felt a bit proud of myself! I will work hard from now on!

My Cousin's Wedding.

I usually don't post this kind of topic in my blog because when we talk about marriage, it does make me freak out sometimes. But I really can't wait to get married.

Declaration of marriage (Akad nikah) was held in Ida's house, somewhere in Gita. I found myself sitting outside with my uncle and nephews. Not even people start the akad, we all have eaten and loitering around. Haha. Suddenly, my head felt spinning, due to my food intake, i guess. I ate too much mutton/goat meat. So, I went home and everyone is looking for me.

At night, I followed my cousins to Dewan Suarah for some technical setup for the audio system. I'll be the DJ. Woohoo! My uncle will be the MC, which is the thing he really good at. I was there until 11pm and went home afterwards.

Yeah.. 1 more thing. Do you think that the 60 Earth Hours works? Hehe. I didn't see much buildings turned off their light.

Ahh.. What a beautiful and sunny Sunday we have today. Well, I'm up and going to the wedding ceremony.

My workplace

Well, I just want to show my workplace (my cubicle). Haha. Here are some pics that I've taken. My table is a bit messy, since I have to help the senior staffs prepare some proposals.

I haven't yet receive my PC, so I borrowed my girl's laptop for works. Huhu. If not, it will be hard for me to do the works. Hope the management process the PC quickly.

That's why I really want this Sony Vaio laptop. I know it's a bit small, i mean, really small.. But It is important so that I don't have to carry a bulky one if I go out. But it cost almost RM3ooo. Where can I find that amount of money. Hehe. I'm still waiting for my first 'real' salary.

Well, I posted so many things about my job because I started to love my jobs. Unfortunately, in my department, there are currently only 3 people there. 3 of us are just doing the preparation for the next project.

My Job

When thinking of it, I'm starting to like my job. Not that I don't like my job, it was just that I'm too new in the business and I don't even know a single thing about it. What do you expect when a boy grown up with IT and multimedia stuffs, suddenly pursue his career in oil and gas think? Blur, right? That was me during my first 2 weeks. Due to guidance by my fellow colleagues, I slowly picking up my pace to adapt myself in this field.

I really need to work hard for this. Opportunity of a lifetime! I hope the new manager to come as soon as possible. Hehe. Tomorrow I need to attend a seminar. It will be awkward attending it with 3 managers, while I'm only the replacement for the absent manager. Haha.

Well, life is good. Thank You Allah!

Random Thoughts

I was at home, like always during my weekend. Nothing to do because since I was working, weekend is the only time I can rest. When at work, there are a lot of things to learn. My mind capacity is limited for time being, and I don't know why. Haha.

I managed to find a few important articles that I needed to learn about oil and gas industry. I guess I'm lucky because it was hard to find that kind of articles in the Internet. I want to focus with this oil and gas field because I know I can go far in this industry.

It was a good weekend because I can see some teams defeated Manchester United and Chelsea. It was quite sometimes we saw strong teams like that being defeated. To make me happier, Arsenal won against Newcastle eventhough a bit suprised the opposition team equalised in less than a minute. Then, everything went well. Hopefully, they can maintain the fourth position. Hope that Liverpool won't lose tonight.

It was really hard for me to update this blog lately because I'm currently without any PC or laptop. So, some other times, I'll try to update. Hehe. Sorry guys.

My Saturday

Pagi2 dah my dad bangunkan aku di hari Sabtu yang indah. Geram la sikit, tapi semata2 kerana nak servis kereta, aku pun menyanggupkan diri untuk temankan my dad. At the same time, Pak Usu pun ikut sekali sebab nak beli bahan untuk masak lemang.

Untuk pengetahuan semua, lemang merupakan tradisi family kami turun temurun. Dari nenek, turun ke Pak Usu now. Now, dapat la relax. Tunggu time raya, memang tak cukup rehat. Aku tahu, mesti Pak Usu demam sebab semalaman orang datang nak order lemang dia. Sedap wei!

Back to the story. Aku pun temankan bapa ngan Pak Usu gi pasar. Pak Usu beli buluh and nyiur tua, while my bapa beli ayam and sayur. Lucu kan? Kita orang lelaki yang beli barang2 macam ni. Hehe. Then, we went to the spare part shops, sebab nak beli minyak enjin and oil filter. Bila dah balik, me and my dad pun terus servis kereta. Tiba2, pembuka filter tu pulak hilang. Jumpa la yang satu tu, yang dah 'ancient'. Berkarat2 dah aku tengok. My dad letih sebab kena repair barang tu. Kesian my dad.

Alhamdulillah, then ok la semua. Yang paling best, my car now dah smooth kembali movement nya. Nice! Then aku bawak adik and cousin ku gi jalan kat Wisma Saberkas. Nak survey handphone and laptop. I saw a nice Acer laptop and Nokia E71! Tunggu la next month. Hehe.

Then, balik rumah, tengok AF. Haha. Now tengah tunggu match Arsenal vs Blackburn.

I have a wishlist. I really want these things this year:
- Acer Laptop
- Nokia E71
- Shock Absorbers for my Gen2
- New Seats for my Gen2
- Body kits for my Gen2

Hope I can obtain those things! I really need it!

I'm moving back to my old office because the GM asked me and several other staffs to start off the new department. I was so glad because I love the office I'm in right now. So many problems arise but we are determined to tackle the problems.

Sabtu Terpaksa Turun Kerja

Adoi.. Sabtu pun kenak turun, semata2 nak fotostat barang.. Mesin fotostat indah mcm2 ragam.. Dah la sikda org turun gilak hari Sabtu.. Sikda lalu org nak ngajar makei mesin fotostat ya.. Dgn mencuba nasib tek, dapat la pakei.. tapi mala jak stuck..

Since tok 2nd day aku dipost ke contract admin, haram sigek benda pun aku sik tauk.. fotostat jak la segala macam dokumen ya.. Huhu.. Tapi sik abis juak.. Percayak sik? ada 3 volume fail ya.. Ku sempat fotostat 2 volume jak.. 5 jam eh 2 volume ya.. Sik gila apa.. Tapi enjoy juak eh, sampei sakit belakang aku berdiri lamak gilak..

Tapi at least aku tauk juak apa dipolah sidak dah.. No wonder hari ya manager ngan GM discuss nak mindah aku, dari ku duduk nyembah meja jak kat ofis.. Yes.. Yes.. Semangat dah tok.. Ku sik tauk la apa plan sidak nak ngantar ku jauh2 tok.. Mudahan mendatangkan kebaikan..

Mudahan segala urusanku diberkati Yang Maha Kuasa. Stress juak eh palak mikir hal tok.. Mudahan aku dikembalikan ke ofis.. Aku rindu ofisku eh.. Ku rindu gelagat sidak kat business development ya.. Harap2 juak sidak management atur tempat ku bena2, sak sik sesat..

Hari Ke-3 Kerja

Rupa2nya, selama tok aku di department yang salah! Aduh! Malunya! Aku duduk di Business Development Office, tapi ofis sebenarku adalah di Project Management Office!

Tapi nasib kakak2 kat ofis ya sporting, membenarkan aku menggunakan komputer2 sidak. Tapi sikpa. Task pertama untuk membantu mereka pun dah dipolah, nunggu respon jak gik.

Lalu la aku pergi ke ofis baru ku. Tempat duduk baru ku nun di penjuru ofis. Haha. And to make it worst, rupanya Manager ofis aku lom report dirik for duty. Haha. 15 tok baruk nya ada. So, aku pun bergaul dengan orang2 yang ditransfer ke ofis aku.

Aku sama ofis ngan Rolando ngan Chai. Mek 3 jak baruk ada dalam ofis ya. Rupanya, ofis ya lom ada. Baruk jak dicipta. Maka, aku pun terpaksa molah kerja support sidak department lain. Best2! Mentor ku kat tingkat atas, which is aku tok nya pun trainee. Nya pun akan join mek org 15 tok. Huhu.

Rupa2nya juak, receptionist mek org ya kawan mak aku time sama Kolej Abdillah lok. Nang apa la orang kat ofis ya. Semua sama dirik jak. Haha.

Seharian aku nunggu sidak balas e-mail. Lom juak balas2. Adoi. Ofis oh ofis, datang la kemudahan utk mek org! Ku stress sikda internet. Nak belajar pasal nok dipadah sidak manager2 tok pun ku sik tauk gik.

First and Second Day at Work

2nd March, the new chapter of my life has begun. I'm working! Hehe.

My first day was cool and easy. I was appointed as Business Proposal Executive, under Project Management Office. Right now, I don't have any place to sit because my place is still empty. Yes! Too empty. I went to the office, and it looks like a library. So quiet!

I was joined by a Marketing Executive, Faezah. She was in the Business Development Executive. Due to the total quietness of the PM office, I went to join the Business Development office instead and sit there. They were so happening. Hehe.

Now, I have to wait for the project manager to report for duty, this 15th, before knowing what to do. Now, as said by Senior Business Proposal Executive, I need to learn as much as I can.

Second was cool and easy too. Not much work to do. Just a little bit of reading on Oil and Gas, and some other engineering stuffs. Nice!

Internet Love, Baby!

Women are laying traps for men seeking love on the Internet. That's what I read in the news this morning. Heheh. So desperate la guys nowadays. I always consider myself as 'weirdo' or 'fatso' or 'round', but yet I managed to find a nice girl which soon to be my wife. Before this a bit desperate la, but not anymore.

In the news, the girl borrowed the victim's two mobile phones and kinda pretend of making some calls la. Then, gone! Poof! Na da! It almost happen to me and my friend. This 2 guys told us they ran out of phone credit, so they want to borrow the phone because some guys kidnapped their sisters last week. Stupid or what, last week being kidnapped, this week look for her? My friend without hesitation gave the phone to that culprit. Just they about to ran away, I pulled one of the culprit's bag and he released the bag go.

Do you want to know what's in the bag? Porn DVDs and magazines. Yeehaa! But we left the bag there, since we don't want to commit sins (Good one!). And to make them look more stupid, they returned in order to exchange the bag with my friend's phone. I directly ran to the bag again and told them if they want the bag, they must pay me compensation. They gave me RM200 and the phone back. Stupid is it?

My friend and I went to enjoy ourselves with that money. That money is legal, ok? No sins committed! COMPENSATION! Heheh. I guess you want to know what happen to the culprit. The following week, I drove pass the police station at Padang Merdeka and I saw they were caught by the police. Serve them well! Crime doesn't pay!

How to Negotiate the Salary You Want

I remembered this topic when I first seek for jobs. This question is kinda like a killer question! Wrong answer, bad! Right answer, depends! The most important thing is to be confident. Always show your confidence in negotiation.

If you are unable to request the salary you want, you might want to request for other benefits such as laptop, mobile phones, allowance for petrol, clothing, expenses account for utility bills, vacation time, etc. But any request must be appropriate to your skills and abilities.

Some employees said that your demand is too much. Remind them that you are an excellent and trained person, which fit best to the job and that kind of demand will not burden the company because you can boost the performance and productivity.

If you feel the salary is too low, politely compare your current salary with other people with the same post like you in other company. Make sure your performance is good before you do this and if this might make your employees unhappy, prepare to move on!

I'm just telling you what I have read. I have no intention to influence people to change jobs due to low salary. Heheh. I am satisfied with what have been offered to me for my new job. Alhamdulillah. I need to fast for 7 days to pay back my Nazar if I got the job.

Handphone and School

When I read the NST online this afternoon, I read a news about students alleged that they were assaulted by their teacher after they brought their handphones to school. The girls said their teacher slapped them and furthermore, challenged them to lodge a police report. That's one very brave yet clueless teacher. When asked why he slapped the girls, the teacher said it was because they had lied, saying they hadn't brought their mobile phones to school.

Just some points to ponder. Can violent actions like that acceptable in today's world? I don't think small lies like that can have devistating effects to the teacher. Who among us all never lied? You know why I hate knowing this handphone in school issue? Because during my high school years, we brought handphones to school, and no problem at all!

A few reasons given when people talk about this issue (and what I feel):

- Students play around with their phone during studies, but who knows if they are using the calculator or reading their notes because they left it at home, or trying to seek for information that is not available in the textbook via wireless connection? I think, the government should not promote using the ICT stuffs if this kind of issues arise.

- Student took unnecessary pictures, but that's a good way to start a career path of to be a photographer, blogger, etc because it can give them side incomes. Don't we have to teach students to look for 'healthy' ways to seek for money so that they won't burden their parents? They can post their picture in Flickr and even start their own photoblog, like my friend Vee. This type of business does make a lot of money.

- Students show off their phones to their friends and that made them some sort of proud or 'eksen', or is it the teacher who are jealous because students nowadays can afford to buy that kind of stuffs, or given by their parents? Heheh! I used various types of phones before and none of my friends call me 'eksen' (I don't know what other people think la! :p). Besides, some of them bought the phones because they know, whatever I used is good stuffs.

- Students might use the phones for 'bad' things such as peeping girls in the toilet, upskirts stuffs, record themselves having *toot*, etc. Don't you think every people responsible for their own action? We, as teachers and adults must teach them about this, but in our conservative culture, this issues probably taboo. They blame the technology, not the people who use it.

That's why I said, it's the people who control the usage, not the technology. I love technology since I was small. I have used Macintosh, IBM old computers, NEC, Nokia Mobira, Motorola, ATUR, and other 'pre-historic' technologies and I ended up adapting myself with latest technologies! The main issue is EDUCATION without barring them to use handphones wherever they want.

My mother always told me that never slap or assault people, eventhough I did it once in a while during my 'younger' days. Heheh. She witnessed her friend being 'double-slapped' both ears and suddenly some sort of liquid went out from the ears. His friend ended up being totally deaf and no actions have been taken to that teacher until the teacher's last breath. If that case happen now, will there any action?

If the teacher challenged the students to lodge a police report, go on! What if the students ended up like my mother's friend? Will the teacher be responsible for his action? Can he replaces the damages if that happened? I admit that I am a little bit hot-tempered person, but I am more angry to the teacher now. Is it fair to punish the students with violence than giving them lessons such as cleaning the toilet, pick up the rubbish around the school, or other community works?

My mother is a teacher, and most of my relatives are teachers. I've never seen them solve any problems with violence to their students. With good advices and justified punishments, I believe the students will realize their mistakes and become a better person.

Madam Lo Jim Ping, I still remember you always scold me in my Math and Add Math classes, but I have grown up being a good person (Haha!). I remembered that you called my mother to tell her that I'm a troublesome student, stand on my chair because I didn't finish my homeworks, but I managed to get 1A for my Math and 5C for my Add Math. Kinda good for someone like me.

That's what I call justified punishment. Punishments that move people toward success!

Arsenal 1 - Roma 0

Arsenal won the match against Roma last night besides disappointing results in the English Premier League. Given the 54% of ball possession to Arsenal, with a few chances to extend the score, they only managed to win by a goal from the penalty by Robin Van Persie.

Nicklas Bendtner, Samir Nasri, and Emmanuel Eboue have a few chances to score. Overall, a satisfying match, i guess. Hope they'll do better in the second leg. No! I hope they will do better in English Premier League! I don't expect Arsenal to play in UEFA Cup like before.

Well, 5 days to go before I start working. Nervous!

I have finally realize that teams that faced Arsenal played the same way lately. How? Put 7 to 8 players in your own half and mark every Arsenal players. For speedy players like Clichy, Nasri and Sagna and Vela, ask 2 or3 players to mark them.

Guess what? That really worked well for few games that they played.

Streamyx Sucks!

I agree with some comments from my friends that Streamyx sucks. I suscribed for 1 Mbps package, but the speed rate now is only 4 kbps? What the hell is that? Huh. This really gave me a headache, and yet, the connection has a lot of problems lately! 4 times, in one a period of 30 days, i was unable to connect to the internet. Adohh! I always have to call the call center and complain.

Anyone has any other solution? Someone encourage me to suscribe for DiGi High Speed Mobile Access. They offered me 224 kbps, full speed rate for RM66 per month. I did try it out that day and it seems fair enough for me. I managed to download stuffs at full speed rate, rather than below 150 kbps with 1Mbps Streamyx package.

Kenari is Done

After involved in the accident last month, my Kenari was finally fixed. Just to wait for the rear door to be fixed. I tested to drive it just now and it was fine! I don't know how my father did it, but at least we saved some money from the repair cost.

I hope my brother won't treat the car like a drift car again. Haha.

Gigg's approach to every Man Utd matches have been inspirational and no doubt, he can be considered as a living legend and example which all young players should follow.

Even Sir Alex Ferguson said that he is a true professional of the game; his lifestyle, the way he looks after himself, his desire to always want to win is a credit to him and also an inspiration to any young kid who wants to become a footballer. As players come and go, he still stays at Man Utd, showing no interest at all to play in other club.

His achievement so far is really amazed me because if he is an English, I bet he'll still play in the England national team. I don't think he'll give up football any time soon. Go Ryan Giggs!

(I bet Arsenal supporters think I'm a traitor right now. Haha!)

The New Job

Finally, after a while waiting, I got my appointment letter yesterday. I was accepted by Brooke Dockyard and Engineering Works Corporation to work with them as BUSINESS PROPOSAL EXECUTIVE. I went online to seek for the job description for further understanding of my new job since I found it is a really 'rare' job.

Mixed Martial Art

I have been a fan of MMA since 1994. I still remember watching Ken Shamrock fights. Then I met an old friend who was a martial artist and I asked him whether I can fight him using the MMA rules. He agreed and we had a lot of fun beating up each other. Before this, I just fight with people that messed up with me.

I had several cuts and bruises on my body, but amazingly, healed quickly (felt like Wolverine from X-Men. Haha). Some aches here and there but it was fun! I managed to apply some Jiu Jitsu and Hapkido moves I learned from books to him. He was quite amaze to see my moves and can't believe it when I say I never officially learn martial art before.

Well, I'm now planning to sign up for a martial art class. Heh.

Andrey Arshavin and Robbie Keane

I was really glad that Arsenal signed Arshavin despite many controversies surrounding the transfer before this and I hope he will do his best for Arsenal. I know he can play well with other Arsenal teammates. I know his experience can boost the leadership and inspiration issues in the Arsenal team.

Without a good captain, any team can't survive. William Gallas was a good captain, but I wish he didn't create any problem before. Fabregas is out, instead of his ability to inspire his other teammates. Kolo Toure and Robin Van Persie were also unable to lead the team. All those were left are young players lack of experience.

I did agree with Wenger that Arsenal must play more 'dangerous' to win more games. Back to Arshavin, I hope you do well!

The different story for Robbie Keane. Rafa Benitez insists he had no choice but to let Keane go, feeling his situation was not good for the rest of the squad. He's a good player, especially when he scored against Arsenal. That was a deadly finishing. Calm and dangerous. But what can we do. He did try his best for Liverpool and yet, he was unable to settle down in the team.

That's why I don't like a manager put a lone striker. I still think that 2 strikers is always the best way for a team to play. And now, he's back in Tottenham Hotspur. They got good strikers too! Roman Pavlyuchenko, Jermaine Defoe and Daren Bent? Hmm. Anyway, best of luck to him too!

Nicolas Cage Anyone?

I spent the whole day watching Nicholas Cage movies. I didn't know why suddenly I watched most of his movies. I'm not a fan by the way, but I like the way he acts! I really enjoyed his movies including The Rock, Face Off, Gone in 60 Seconds, World Trade Center, National Treasures, National Treasures: Book of Secret, Ghost Rider and Next.

I managed to find his all in one DVD in a video shop. I must say, he is giving me so much positive influence right now because of his movies. Many moral values can be learned such as never give up, family comes first, always try to excel in everything you do, etc.

Fulham's Erik Nevland

I love football so much. I like Arsenal and Liverpool for many years already. But this morning, I watched Football Extra on Star Sports channel, the highlight of Fulham vs Portsmouth, my eyes focused on this player, Erik Nevland, who scored twice for Fulham. Seriously, I never heard of him before, until this morning.

His finishing moves really caught my intention, reminiscent of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. He actually played for Manchester United before but unable to established himself into the first team. Then he played with his home club, Viking FK before moving to FC Groningen in Holland.

You just don't know how bored I was, watching the Arsenal game last night, but quickly full of excitement watching Fulham's game this morning. Hope to see more of Erik Nevland in the near future. I just can't wait for Liverpool game tonight. I hope Arsenal will do better soon, or else it would be too little to late for the top 4 spot.

What's Wrong With My Blog Layout?

A few friends asked me about my white, empty background. They told me I lost my sense of creativity in this coding stuffs. Not that I don't want to do these kind of things anymore, but I have no time! I spent about a few minutes per day in front of the computer only, just to check my mails and stuffs.

Besides, I don't want to be addicted too much with blogging because I have a lot of other things to do and responsibilities to meet. What's wrong with white anyway? I can consider my white background as a sign for me to purify myself. Haha. Daa. It looks clearer in my eyes and easier to read.

Well, that's the reason. Today is a boring Sunday! I'm still wondering about my first job. Heheh.

Honda City - My Thought

My friend asked me to 'examine' the new Honda City the other day and I did it. I went to the Honda showroom the other day to see the new City. So may people wanted to see the car that day. I was amazed because the previous Honda City look weird!.

First thing that I saw is the new shape of the City. It was ok for me, since I was not a Honda fan. The front grill look bold, distinct to the eye. Look like 'Kereta Tank' for me! But it was nice. The rear end also looked ok but it reminded me of Toyota Vios, Daaa.

The new City comes only with the 1.5-litre i-VTEC engine, with 5 speed auto transmission for those who want fuel economy, comfort and a bit sporty performance (as the sales person told me). The wheels design is nice. I liked it, though (for a moment!).

The interior of Honda City was what I like the most. I felt like in a luxury car, with perfect driving seat position, a nice steering and a nice centre console for aircond vents and radio (I saw USB jack on the radio. I guess can put the MP3 player there). The gear knob look cute too, while the leg room for back seat is quite wide.

With all the interesting features of the car, I still can't take my eyes off Proton Saga. Haha. People told me that I'm 'lame' because I like national car, but who cares? I love my country and I still drive my Gen2 with pride. Just that now I'm thinking of changing to a 4WD, something like Toyota Land Cruiser or Isuzu Trooper Bighorn.
